Catanzaro is the county borough from 1972, positioned on a cliff and is like to go up a spiral staircase, overlapping curves, is called for this reason “Divine Comedy” City.Scalea is between Calabria and Basilicata is known for its historical sites and archaeological finds,that is the witness of human presence from palaeolithic. Characterised by striking narrows,medieval vaults. Today Scalea represents the most attractive for tourism with its “Cider's Coast”. The city is famous for Riace bronzes( grecian warriors of V cent.a.C.), exhibited in the museum at Reggio Calabria.Excellent local cuisine, especially sea food and farm produce. Calabria has a strong agricultural industry including vineyards, olive, oil, orange and bergamot. Calabria is connected with direct flights.
